Coconut fiber or Coir fiber is a renewable natural material extracted from coconut husk. Coconut husks are immersed in fresh water for six or more weeks and the fiber is mechanically extracted. Coir fibers help increase air porosity in the growing medium and improves water retention and water release to the plant.

Coconut Fiber can be mixed with other coir products like coir (cocopeat) and husk chips to create special blends.

Coconut Fiber - Brown: Fibers are obtained from seasoned fully matured coconuts.  It is a great standalone medium or can be used in custom blends with coir and husk chips.  Coir fibers help increase air porosity in the growing medium and improves water retention and water release to the plant. It is also a popular material in conservation projects (erosion control).

Coconut Fiber - Golden brown: Fibers are obtained from fresh green coconuts. It is finer than brown fiber and used for making ropes, fishing nets and other eco-friendly products.
