Coconut Coir Husk Chips or Coir Chunks are made from mature coconut husk (shell). It is 100% natural, absorbs water and retains it. The absorbed water is released over time. Coco Chips have great aeration, drainage qualities. It mixes well with growing medium (like coir) and soil. Coco Chips makes an excellent soil amendment. Great for growing Orchids, Anthurium, Bromeliads, reptile bedding etc.
Coir Chips are shipped in the form of compressed blocks (bricks). Users usually will hydrate to separate the coir chips.
